Tiny version of the popular Crescent City Necklace! If you'd like the original larger size, please go here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/166436997/crescent-city-necklace-mississippi-river?ref=shop_home_active_1
New Orleans gets its nickname 'The Crescent City' from the crescent shape that the Mississippi River makes at New Orleans.
I used a map to draw the outline of this iconic bend in the river. The river is then cut from stainless steel and very heavy plated in 14k gold, rose gold, and silver.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are your pieces made of?
All chains, clasps and jump rings are either gold filled or sterling silver.
Most charms are stainless steel plated in 100 mils thickness of gold or silver. This is considered 'very heavy plating' and is about 10x the thickness of traditional 'plated' items. As a result, with proper care, it can last as long as any gold filled or sterling silver item.
I include measurements of the charms in both inches and millimeters. Most of my items have a delicate aesthetic by design. Please familiarize yourself with the measurements if you are concerned about the size.
The lengths of the necklaces are measured from tip to tip. Please keep in mind that people come in all different sizes so 16" on one person may not fall the same on another person. The best way to determine your ideal length is to measure an existing necklace that falls how you like, or use a piece of string.
Where are your items made?
I take pride in my items being made exclusively in America. My chain and clasps are from a company in California, and my jump rings are made by hand in Colorado. My charms are designed in New Orleans, laser cut in New York City, plated in Rhode Island, and assembled by hand & with love near Seattle.
A sad fact of life in this industry is that there are many copies of my designs floating around - especially in Korea and China. They are poor replicas of inferior craftsmanship and their prices reflect that. Please do not be fooled! My pieces are original designs, only made by me and sold on my website and to select brick and mortar boutiques around the US (and Canada).

So cute and so dainty. The 17 inch is just the perfect length that when bend to wash my face in the sink or drink from a drinking fountain, it doesn't go past my chin (if that makes sense at all).
